suboxone dosage

hey guy, i got a quick question. iv been useing a dubs worth of H at the least everyday for about 6 months, and im tryin to quit. i got the suboxone sublingual film 8mg/2mg and was wounderin how i should go about dosage?.....just dont want to through up or waste it.

ps sorry if where not allowed to say dub sack....dont know any other way i could let y'all know how much i've been usuing.

Take it sublingually, that is under the tongue the way it was designed. I would not try any other routes, when I was on suboxone for recovery I took it seriously and only put it under my tongue. If you are truly trying to stop then you need to give up on the needle or whatever you do to take drugs, whatever it is i doubt you place it under your tongue. The idea is to stop the behavior too not just the substance.

I would start at 1mg and work up. 2mg is a good moderate dose for someone with a low-medium habit and i would try to go no higher then 2 or 4mg as there is no need to go higher, unless of course you need to. Recovery is also 100% personal you can take advise from people and i encourage it but dont think what works for someone will work for you the same way. Feel it out and make it your own you need to integrate recovery into yourself so its part of you and not something your doing, if you get what i am trying to say.

yea man i get you, and thanks for the advice. i am putting it under my tunge(didnt know u could do it any other way actualy). so it says not to cut the strip but i really dobt feel like i need the entire strip so could i cut it into 3rds?

Yes, you can cut the strip and take parts of it. Just keep the rest of the strip in a cool, dry place until you're ready to use it.

Subs have a long half life also so space doses out as far as u can to get the most out of your supply

The easiest way to "cut" the strips evenly I found was to fold them in half and keep working the fold. Eventually it will turn white and you can rip it straight down it with ease. Then you can easily do 8 to 4, 4 to 2, and so on until you literally can not fold it any longer.
