Hope this helps...all I could find thats actually real information. The website is drugdigest.com if you want to compare any other drugs.

ALCOHOL may interact with CLONAZEPAM (in Klonopin Wafer, Klonopin)

Although the cause of this potential interaction is not fully understood, intolerable or otherwise undesirable side effects may occur when clonazepam is taken with alcoholic beverages or alcohol-containing products (such as some cough syrups and elixirs). Potential side effects include drowsiness, dizziness, blurred vision, headache, and nervousness. Because the combination of clonazepam and alcohol (ethanol) may impair your judgment and/or reflexes, it may be dangerous to drive or to perform tasks which require you to be alert after taking these together. It would be advisable to avoid consuming alcohol while you are taking clonazepam. Discuss this potential interaction with your healthcare provider at your next appointment, or sooner if you think you are having problems.

This interaction is well-documented and is considered moderate in severity.

BUPRENORPHINE HYDROCHLORIDE (in Subutex) may interact with CLONAZEPAM (in Klonopin Wafer, Klonopin)

Clonazepam may increase the pain relieving effects and sedation of buprenorphine. These drugs given together may decrease your ability to react, so caution should be taken on tasks which require detailed attention such as driving or operating machinery while taking these medications together.Ask your healthcare provider about these drugs and this potential interaction as soon as possible.

This interaction is poorly documented and is considered major in severity.

yes subutex (buprenorphine) and clonazepam do interact as they are both CNS depressants.. 2mg of clonazepam is quite a high dose to start on for someone with no benzo tolerance at all... usually you start off with 0.5 or 1mg, but if your doctor thinks you need it, he's better placed to evaluate your needs.

That said you should be allright as your opiate tolerance is very high, just don't mix other CNS depressants especially alcohol with the clonazepam and bupe, that would be very dangerous.

And yes benzos increase the sedation of opiates, in this case bupe....

I currently take 6mg bupe 40mg diazepam and 3mg alprazolam... so it really depends on your tolerance...

I know this is off topic, but I was just wondering how the bupe has been treatin ya? I know you were miserable coming off that methadone; have things been any better since you have gotten onto bupe?

yes, they will both potentiate eachother, if u dont have any exp with benzos i Really dont see why any doctor would give u a script for 2mg'ers but, that aside, u literally only need 1/4th of a 2mg to start with.. a 2mg pill for someone with no benzo background, let alone being on sub is way more than enuf.
