Bupe Subs taken out of mouth-still good?

Ok,so i am attending an (outpatient)Sub clinic for awhile now,and while we are given the bupe under supervision,we(me and other patients) are sometimes able to hide the pill somewhere in our mouth and take it out when we leave the clinic(obviously to save the bupe for another time and get high that day).

Obviously it is almost impossible to keep the pill 100% dry in your mouth,but after the saliva dries off i see that sometimes almost 90% of the pill is still preserved.

My question is,is the bupe losing any of its potency while going through this whole proccess?Alot of ppl seem to be using those(spit out) pills months later,and im wondering if any chemical changes are possible to happen by that time,or if the bupe gets weaker or expires quicker due to the contact it has with saliva?

Sounds like a stupid question,but i have a shitload of "almost" whole Sub pills in my possesion(that i took out from my mouth) and wonder if they are safe to use.

I doubt that the suboxone will lose a lot of potency if any. I would highly doubt it would be unsafe to take maybe a little gross because of the dry saliva and oldness of the strip but you should be fine taking it. If were you I would keep my mouth as dry as possible remove the sub as soon as possible then leave it out on a piece of wax paper or something to dry fully and store it in plastic once its dry. I wouldnt expect any issues if it is done like that.

Nice idea man,wish i had thought of that before(although the subs were given are in pill form,not strips),i already have a buttload of them and was contemplating of whether to use them or not.

Would be too bad if i had destroyed them that way,they are Subutex pills and we are given them only under supervision,and then they give us Suboxone to use on weekends when the clinic is closed.

It won't lose potency but may taste a little nasty later.
