Bupe Suboxone will not hinder my withdrawal. Why?

I woke up and got a dirty hit from a cotton shot. Sucked. Waited about 12 hours and snorted about 2mg sub. Got a little precipitated withdrawal but i didn't care because i was already feeling bad. Thinking that the precip withdrawal couldn't get any worse i IV'd about 2mg to get it to kick in faster. Bad idea. Immediately got very deep into precip withdrawal. The strange thing is, it never really let up. I waited and waited, and about 8 hours later i IV'd another 4mg. Nada. Its 2 days later and i still have pupils as big as saucers and all my body hair standing up. I have done 8mg of sub today IV and it really only makes a mental difference. What gives? I had a pretty big habit before.

You are experiencing withdrawls because of the way you are doing it.Suboxone contains naloxone(Narcan,opioid antagonist)specifically to keep people from attempting to iv it.Doing that will throw you into immediate dope sickness.Buprenorphine(the good stuff that makes you well)is absorbed very well under your tongue,very poorly in the gut.The naloxone is broken down and destroyed by the enzyme amilays(sp?)in your saliva.The proper way to take it is to place the tablet under your tongue and let it dissolve.Do not swallow any saliva untill the pill is completely dissolved(about 10 min).It's a pain in the ass but if you do this with an 8 mg tab I promise you will feel like a new man within 20-30 minutes after the pill dissolves.Sniffing is no good either.Take it sublingual and it will work wonders.The strips of Suboxone film dissolve even quicker.Make sure you are sick before you take it or it will kick any remaining opiates off the receptors and precipitate withdrawls.
