If I just shot .5 mg sub will I still get off if I use heroin? Or is .5mg enough to block some/all effects??

0.5mg is a pretty small dose of buprenorphine, but it still has the possibility of diminishing some of the effects of heroin. Though in my personal experience, the blocking effects don't start kicking in hard until decently higher doses than 0.5mg.. I usually had no problem breaking thru a small dose of bupe with heroin.
But to be on the safe side, why not wait 6-8 hours after your dose of bupe to do the dope? This way you can be totally sure it won't negate any effects. Either way, you should still feel a shot of dope just fine..
This is such a basic question though, and is certainly not Other Drugs material.. I advise you to peruse the Suboxone mega thread, as well as the basic drug discussion forum, as this has been covered thousands of time.
