Bupe Suboxone after Oxycodone

I am about 30 days clean from methadone and oxycodone.

Been taking some subs the past 5 days. Today i had to take 60MG of oxycodone to make sure it was in my urine for the pain clinic .

I took some subs and do not feel ill yet.

Do you only get ill if you're in WD/detox mode ?

If I feel deathly ill soon. I'll let ya know.

So, far I don't feel ill. So I think the pre WD only happens when you're WDing and your first dose.

Oh BTW. I did not feel the roxxies at all or did i relapse. I just had to make sure it was in my urine. Even though thery didn't test me... I hate random test.

Got rid of the roxxies ASAP. m

You probably didn't have any precipitated withdrawal because you still had so much suboxone (buprenorphine, to be exact) left in you when you took the oxy. (Same reason you didn't feel them.)

The reason you avoided precip withdr was NOT that you weren't in WD. Ok, that was a double-negative, kind of confusing, so...

Being in withdrawal when you take suboxone is not the cause of precipitated withdrawal. In fact, unless you are already stabilized on buprenorphine/suboxone, you SHOULD already be in withdrawal when you take bup/subx. If you are NOT in WD then you will likely get precipitated withdrawal. To be clear, if you had stayed on oxy for a couple more days and then jumped right back onto suboxone, you probably would have had a very horrible surprise.

You should try to get a good understanding of these dynamics before going back and forth, or you risk a bad experience. Hit the Suboxone megathread, I suggest

I was on methadone and oxycodone for 2 years. Than I did about 21 days cold turkey and finally detoxed. Now my new girlfriend has been giving me free subs. But I been taking them for energy and mental boost.

So far. I don't feel ant precipitaed WD. And it's been over 30 mins.

Just proud of myself getting off the other stuff cold turkey. The most painful and longest experience of my life . Especially the methadone.

So, I am clean now minus taking small amounts of subs and xanax at night for sleep. ( which i have been on for 2 years )

Also awhile back. I was on methadone. I took subs only 24 hours after it and did not get sick.

It just seems Suboxone has never done anything wrong to me. Minus I get headaches a lil dizzy for the first 1-3 days of taking.

Getting off of the done and oxy -- unless you've gone cold-turkey you don't know how hard it is! That's a real accomplishment
Yeah, I don't think you'll feel precip wd this time cuz you hadn't taken any time off of Suboxone really when you did the oxy. Or any time you take full agonists "on top" of suboxone (unless you quit taking suboxone for a few days)
Glad it hasn't caused any trouble for you. I was justing suggesting you get familiar with how precip withdrawal works, cuz buprenorphine works in weird ways, and you don't want to get a bad effect now, when things are going well otherwise.

I was on subs before as well. But ran out of money. SO, I relapsed etc

Thanks. Doing cold turkey is the best route. very painful though and no sleep /=
