Well dear readers, I have become very 'bored' with suboxone. Even at low dosages, I find that it provides a 'hollow' opioid effect that makes me depressed, and feeling down is something that I simply cannot tolerate anymore. Between my fathers progressing lung cancer and the hole in my heart, I have been finding myself fantasizing more and more about trying to find smack and crystal. I HAVE been using propylhexadrine on an almost daily basis for the past 2 weeks, which has also greatly contributed to feeling 'down' (when I run out). I have become completely confused as to whether I'm a speed freak or a junky, and probably spend way too much time confusing myself with this meaningless identity crisis. Either way, I brilliantly came up with a plan that was rather manipulative in order to get this kratom which I won't go into, but I will say involves an 'outpatient program'.

Anyway, the point of creating this post was to answer the question 'Does kratom work on top of buprenorphine'. The answer is a definite yes, it does for me, though it should be noted I've been taking 2-3 mg of suboxone sublingually (sometimes plugged) for the past month. I took 9g of the 'Superior Malaysian' blend from Kratom Therapy that I aquired at a smoke shop last night. But here, let's go into more detail:

So I get home, and I'm feeling anxious because I'd plugged 1.5mg that day, and also taken .5mg sublingual, so I'm fearing that the kratom's going to be blocked. I got two 50 count bottles, containing 600mg pellets. I didn't want to take too little, but I also didn't want to waste half of them in case the buprenorphine didn't block the kratom's effects. So I decided to meet somewhere in the middle, and consumed approximately 9g (15 pellets/capsules, whatever you want to call them). I washed it down with some water, and then started researching a good horror movie to watch. I'm single now, and not homeless anymore, and have found that in the two years that I was out there in the abyss some fabulous horror movies have come out. I had already watched 'The Babadook', 'It Follows', 'In Fear' and 'The Honeymoon', and I was in a frenzy to watch a movie of comparable quality (TBH 'The Honeymoon' would have been way better if the couple's relationship didn't seem so shallow-for a compelling acting experience focused on character dynamics, please watch 'In Fear')-anyway, I did a google search for the best horror movies of 2014 and found one called 'Starry Eyes'. Compelling title and premise, a clever analogy between selling your soul to satan and an actors ambition for fame. Decided that this film was intellectually adequate for my viewing, and put it on. I had basically forgotten that I had taken any kratom at this point, (as you probably forgot too), and I suddenly realized that I was starting to feel a light wave of euphoria wash over my head like a warm, DRY towel (what junky likes anything wet, besides a pussy, and even then, most don't care for that too much either..). I was pleased with this effect but braced myself should it end too soon, as I have noticed that while buprenorphine doesn't always block the effects of opiates completely, it can make their effects last much shorter. However, this was not the case, the euphoria did plateau, but that was to be expected and I was happy where I was, however the body buzz continued to grow to the point where I was just short of a nod. Needless to say, watching 'Starry Eyes' was an extremely pleasant experience.

Anyway I wanted to make this post because theres been a lot of debate on multiple forums as to whether Kratom will work on top of suboxone, and IME it did. The effects were not dulled at all. What I also find interesting in Kratom is that I experience a euphoria that is similar to the effects I grew to love when I first started doing heroin/opiates. The kind of euphoria that makes you feel motivated, to say, write a trip report, or clean your room (both of which I have done this morning, under the influence of kratom). I have not felt this euphoria for literally years, not from IV heroin or any other opiate, but for some reason Kratom does it for me. Now don't get me wrong, I would not say I prefer kratom to shooting dope, but it sure as hell beats suboxone. I have also read that not all of kratom's effects are due to opioid receptor agonism, and that it's stimulant effects are likely due to its close relation to Yohimbe, and I wonder if the reason I get the euphoria so strong is due to the fact that kratom is 'more' than an opioid/opiate. Whatever it is, I like it a lot. It's like a super organic speedball.

Okay, so wanted to clear up some more things I have discovered about kratom, and suboxone. I ran out of my two bottles of head shop kratom, superior malaysian, and superior maeng da, so I got a kilo of powdered Bali/Indo kratom. But I had to switch back to subs for a day (I should note that taking subs 3 hours after dosing kratom DID NOT PRECIPITATE WITHDRAWALS-in fact I got kind of high of the buprenorphine, which was crazy, because I would have thought my tolerance had gone up).

During that day I plugged a total of 3mg, the last plugging occurring at about 3:30, I tested the Bali/Indo blend at 7:30, once again, it worked perfectly fine, though I find this strain to be a little more sedating and comparable to heroin or morphine, whereas the maeng da is like hydrocodone or oxy, or any of the speedy opioids. the Bali can produce stimulant effects, but I realized I have to dose much lower, no higher than 5-6g with my tolerance. Anything above that it gets sedating, and I seem incapable of handling dosages above 21g, as I tried taking that much this morning, and ended up vomiting all over the place 20 minutes after consumption and passing out for another six hours. Kratom is some real shit people, for those of you looking for an alternative to suboxone and methadone, you should all give this stuff a try. I wish I wasn't so late to jump on the bandwagon.

yeah kratom really is a magic substance haha gone through 1 kilo in 2 months and did not get any kind of comedown/withdrawal,not even real cravings
It is way stronger and nicer than codein, cheap as fuck and zero toxic
It also has huge array of effects and different dosages completely change the effect of it,on top theyre so many strains.
Kratom is the weed of opiates

I created this account to respond to the thread that came up when I searched for interactions between sub and Kratom, I wanted to correct all the people saying it doesn't or "shouldn't" work but yeah that was an old one better to add to this discussion.
I am currently on 6mg of suboxone Kratom is easy access for me, I got it to supplement my pain control regiment which is currently Sub, weed edibles, tylonol ect. Kratom works on me, it makes me slightly euphoric and pretty sleepy which is nice when in pain sometimes I just want to be asleep, I wouldn't personally compare it to opiates but I was a heavy IV heroin/hydromorphone user so my standard of a good buzz is really fucking high. I'm not sure if the effects are decreased because I have not taken Kratom while not on Subs but my SO who took the Kratom and is not on Sub said she was "uncomfortably stoned" but is also very prone to anxiety, so there is probably some diminished returns.
The main question I wanted to contribute another experience answer to is does Kratom work when you are on Subs, yes it does work it was more effective as a psychoactive to me on 8mg of Subs than 50mg of morphine IV, also no it doesn't show up in my UA but they only really test for cocain/opiates. If you are a hardcore junkie(not using) and think it will be a waste of time, you might be let down but you will feel it.
PS: it is really rough on the stomach, I have a hiatus hernia and this stuff does make you nauseous normally so have some ginger on hand.
