So I have been kicking my dose down to .5..I got to the point of skipping at least one day.

So I skipped one day and then used tramadol for 2 days about 6 pills first day second day 4 trams, and next 2 days I was taking a few 10mg hydrocodone.

I feel doing this is beneficial because my body is getting more time to rid of the subs in my system.

I know I shouldn't be using other opioids(which brought me into this mess) BUT I feel it's possibly an easier withdrawal. Sort of like induction of weak opioid when I feel like I need subs...keep this up for up to a month gradually lowering hydro dose.. do you think this plan is fair?

I'm afraid of continuing this addiction with suboxone I really hope that switching to hydros will let me sit comfortably while the sub on its way out, then just kick that hydro, which shouldn't be too bad and obviously a much quicker withdrawal.

As you note yourself, it’s probably not wise to be using multiple opioids. I always suggest people pick one that has the worst least withdrawal effects and use that alone. The problem with taking multiple opioids when you’re going through withdrawal is that you end up withdrawing from multiple drugs in different ways compounding your withdrawal. That’s certainly been my experience, and it’s why poppy pod tea has some of the worst withdrawals ever as it has so many different active compounds.

Given what you have access to, hydrocodone definitely seems like the best choice. Good luck and keep us updated!
