Pain overflowing, bursting at the seams
When it's the only thing left to give
Taken too much from too many
Felt time slowly creeping up
All the while..
Knowing the clock would someday expire
And the batteries that kept you running
Would someday cease to radiate

Glowing bright..
Dimmed to soft, static, fading
Filament, stagnant, extinguished

Every person your bulb burned runs
