Bluelighter
This is a question about creating a longer than 24 hour light cycle. I've done the research on both sides of the arguement for the 24 hr a day vegitative cycle as opposed to 18/6 to give the plants time to recover however alternatively causing possible streaching. With a longer cycle like 30 on/6 off your plants will spend almost half the time they would in the dark each week, as opposed to a 18/6 light cycle.
I have heard of grow cycles where you can streach the cycle longer than 24 hours but I was wondering how far could you streach the cycle and does this effect the amount of darkness needed durring the flowering cycles. Could you after veging with a 30/6 light cycle get your plants to flower in an 18/6 cycle because of the loss of 12 hours or do you still use 12/12 for flowering?
