So earlier today I had sex about an hour or 2 AFTER my suboxone dose (down to small pieces off an 8mg tab, around 1mg). It was taking me a while because we all know what opiates do to our sex stamina drive erections ect... But i was determined to finish. My heart was beating pretty damn fast 120bpm near the end and Right after I orgasmed It stopped beating fast and seemed to stop beating, then Boom 1.5 seconds later Boom, my heatr was beating extrememly slow and very strangely, it was very very hard, but in a different way than hard and fast beating, it was beating so hard I felt it in my ears and heard it. It beat like this for about 6 beats slowly and HARD and feeling like it was gonna explode my chest and ear drums, then back to normal boom, boom softly but still faster than normal around 100bpm.

What the eff, happend? Ive had heart palpitations before, usually its the kind where it feels like it skips a beat, but this was way different, and the fealing it in my ears part I have never experienced. Its like my blood pressure shot up to 10x its normal number.

Im just wondering if anyone has any ideas on what this could have been. I know it was prob from the adreneline rush mixing with my slowed cardiac system that made it happen, but ive done speedballs of H and crack before and things way worse and have never had such a reaction...

I've been on Suboxone for half a year and have been on opiates on and off for two and a half years and I get something similar to that that all the time. I don't feel my heart beating erratically but I feel what is either my pulse or my heartbeat pounding through my head and ears. Most of the time it happens after exercise, after sex, and when I'm trying to sleep with only one pillow. It feels as though the veins in my head are literally pulsing and it's not a painful feeling but an annoying one because I could feel it in the ears too. I haven't worried that much about it but I didn't know whether it was something that should be alarming or not. I honestly thought that it might happen to everybody, or at least most people.

Yeah that's happened to me before. I doubt i was on opiates but i'd be fully exerted with a rapid heartbeat, dunno if it was 120 but i doubt it was below 100 lol, then climax & my heart would suddenly pause then begin beating very hard but slow. I doubt its abnormal but the fact you were so hyperaware of it may be a good reason to see a doctor perhaps.

I've had palpitations and experienced similar symptoms to yours. Fucking frightening when it happens. Thinking back, the majority of the times have been while on amphetamines.

Just speculating here, but doesn't DA have a lot to do with involuntary muscle function, ie: heart rythm?

lol this probably means you shouldnt push yourself to where you heart is going to explode or just stop taking suboxone and have better sex.
