Greetings Bluelighters, (my first post)

Swim is anxiously awaiting a 500mg order of 4-AcO-DMT fumarate and though he has spent a good amount of time searching the net for information regarding storage and stability of this chemical, he has come up largely empty-handed. Though there are a few reports here and there, many of them are not first-hand experiences and are speculations based upon the properties of tryptamines in general. Swim would like to be confident that his $XXX investment will not go to waste.

In particular, he is interested in hearing from people who have been successful (or unsuccessful) storing this chemical in solution (ethanol or water), whether the solutions (and powder-form) were kept cool or at room temperature, and how long the chemical remained at approximately the original potency. Swim plans on storing this 100mg at a time in solution for the purpose of obtaining more accurate laboratory measurements.

Though Swim has read that this chemical easily degrades into 4-HO-DMT, he is under the impression that this has little change in experimental use (other than possible legal considerations). Is this impression accurate? If so, Swim is primarily concerned with the possibility of further degradation.

*No vendor talk*

well, i believe that the fumarate salt is more stable than the HCl.
usually powders are more stable than a solution, so dissolving 100 mg (or even less) at a time is a good idea.

keep it in a dark container to protect from light, something airtight, and at low temperature.

i've heard the same thing about degrading to 4hodmt, but i can't vouch for that

So far the longest I've stored 4-aco-dmt in solution has been 5 months store in everclear in the freezer and found it doesn't seem to have degraded yet.

This is really suspicious.

a) We don't use "SWIM" here.
b) You've made it abundantly clear, twice, that this vendor is reliable.
c) You've discussed price, attempting to be sly about it:

"Swim is anxiously awaiting a 500mg order of 4-AcO-DMT fumarate... ...Swim would like to be confident that his $XXX investment will not go to waste."

d) This is your first post.
e) I have seen vendors, legitimate or not, try to promote themselves on various drug forums, in various ways.

I'm not a mod, but this reeks. Bad.

Definitely does seem like a sly attempt at vendor advertising.

*snip*

I have no idea whether this is "subtle" advertising but it doesn't really seem like it to me to be honest. I am a bit of an ol' softy an tend to give the benefit of the doubt but the only issue I saw was the unnecessary pricing and I don't necessarily have a problem with prices either if there is some relevance. In this case there wasn't and led to the beginnings of comparing prices withing 5 posts so got snippified.

Anyhoo, I'm pretty sure this is covered in The Solutions: Solubility & Stability Mega-Thread so will direct you there and close this one for now.

Welcome to PD and BL :)
