Hey fellow Blue-Lighters, where im from everyone drives high.
Is this the case where you're from?
I struggle to find how we're able to drive perfectly fine while high and it is a illegal drug?
Confuses me greatly.
Anyone know which is easier to drive on, Indica or Sativa?
Thanks :)
Peace

I drive pretty much everytime i smoke up, but out of my mates there's only 2 of us that drive blazed. The first time i drove after smoking it was abit of a learning curve but now I actually find it pretty easy to drive (unless im really fucked and its raining 8o ).

Here's something i found on youtube, not very scientific but sorta interesting

I would have to say sativa strains are easier to drive IMO, but if they're strong i find that i get abit distracted.

Yeah, I drive better when i'm high - not to mention pissed. 8)

Do you mean to say your concentration has never wavered when you're wasted?

Frankly, if they made pot legal (decriminalised etc), i'd be prepared to accept a trade-off with having Random Ganja Testing.

This is a harm reduction board, so I feel someone should say that drug driving is irresponsible and reckless.

I was about to step in and say this, myself. Would these people drive drunk and messed up on other drugs? You need to be 100% clear-headed and aware while you are driving. Hell, I have read a few times before that tired/sleepy drivers are at about the same risk of hazards on the road as drunk drivers (You can fact check on your own time), so why would you want to get behind the wheel while on something? It's a stupid risk to take and you put yourself and everyone else in danger when you drive intoxicated.

I wonder, do these people think that they could die or ruin their lives forever because they might not have full control of the vehicle or reflexes fast enough to prevent a crippling injury, become a double-arm amputee or something?

As a medical patient who needs to smoke multiple times a day(albeit the fact I usually smoke more than is necessary) it's hard for me to avoid driving high all the time. I would never drive absolutely stoned but when i am only high, say 30-45mins post heavy smoke session of high grade weed, I drive all the time. I tend to drive more carefully when high, as I came within one stupid lucky technicality of a DUI a couple years back. Drivers, as in us, simply need to be aware to avoid problems.

lmfao that video was the shit

never again in the rain.....

Getting lost in the parking lot where all of these cops park their cars.... it was raining, i was surrounded by cop cars, and had no idea where the fuck i was going.

I don't drive when i feel i would not be able to operate a motor vehicle.

Sure, driving while stoned is cool if you consider waiting at a stop sign for 5 minutes wondering wtf is going on a safe activity that isn't going to draw any attention.

Not to mention your reaction time goes out the f'ing window. Noone, and I mean noone, can convince me that they drive better stoned than sober. Sorry, but it's bullshit.

Quite a few people in my area drive while messed up.. high, drunk, whatever. I drive high quite a bit, but never drunk. I can't coordinate for shit when I'm drunk.

I can drive fairly well while stoned but admit to my slower reaction times, to make up for it I don't text or use my mp3 player. tbh sober texting people seem to swerve and cause more accidents more often then stoned drivers where i'm from lol.

of course it would be much easier to drive on sativa but as mentioned above, it's really best to drive when you are at your sharpest.

worlds best drunk driver....... Untill my dui
driving high does not phase me....
i've even been pulled over and talked to the pigs, of course this is cali they don' care....

I've actually avoid an accident or two while high. Whether or not I did so because of my heightened awareness is up for debate, I'm a pretty good driver anyways.

I find myself almost too hyper-aware while driving high. Almost to the point of being uncomfortable.
