I have a topic that I want to get everyone's opinions on.
How long do you think the rave scene will last?
I know where I live (Sacramento, CA), 99% of raves are now being broken up because of a recent rave where a huge bust went down. Does anybody know the law on this type of thing? Are raves completely illegal everywhere?
How much more "underground" will we have to go to keep the rave scene alive?
Just a few questions to get you thinking...
oh ya, changed my name from Skippdogg to Skipp-E, seems more appropriate. Just have to wait longer to become a bluelighter..

Hrm. Yanno, sometimes I complain about living in Ohio coz it seems in states like California and Pennsylvania, or cities like Toronto, NYC, and Chicago, there's a tight party to hit every weekend. That's not the case here... Columbus will get a good party every 3 or 4 weeks it seems, but a lot of the time you gotta drive to Cleveland, Cinci, or even Pittsburgh to find a rave.
However...
Perhaps I shouldn't complain at all, because from what I see, the scene here in Ohio is alive and well. I posted elsewhere exactly what the scene means to me ( http://www.bluelight.ru/ubb/Forum1/HTML/003208.html ) and I was honest there. Of course there's always going to be exceptions, parties that fall short in places, but that's a compilation of the joys I take from the parties I go to.
I was actually surprised to hear oldskoolers respond saying they hadn't been to parties like that in awhile. Maybe you all should come to Ohio.. And maybe I should bite my tongue nect time I feel the urge to complain.
