Hey there,

I'm looking for a stimulant to help me study, but I can't decide on any, yet. I've been thinking about something that hasn't much euphoria so I don't start my computer and mass-spam friends on my issues or such. I live in Poland so methylphenidate is off the question, I don't have problems with accessing other things though. The only compound I have problem with is MDPV, as I've thought about amphetamine at first, someone recommended me MDPV over amphetamine for studying and doing school-related stuff.

Is it worth searching for? Or maybe better amphetamine? Or perhaps there's something even better?
 
I ordered some 4-FA (para-amphetamine) for the same reason, to use an academic performance enhancer. People have said 2-FA (ortho-amphetamine) would be better for this purpose but 4-FA is more readily available. I wanted something similar to dextro-amphetamine (Adderall, Dexedrine) and 4-FA seemed to be pretty close at least structurally. I also ordered some etizolam for the comedowns.

Unfortunately, these damn RC vendors take a month or more to ship to me, it really sucks. Ethylphenidate is an RC that is obviously similar to methylphenidate, an ethyl group in the place of a methyl group, so basically some extra carbon and hydrogens. I think there are a few other RC stims people like for study aids, but I can't remember which ones they were...honestly, any amphetamine like stim is great for studying, except maybe the psychedelic types or MDMA type ones.

Of course, you can overdo it with anything and end up using the high to enjoy other things instead of studying.
 
I prefer vyvanse for studying. I use both adderall and vyvanse. Vyvanse is longer lasting and smoother than adderall.

I've wanted to try vyvanse or even get a script for dexamp again but I've found that getting RC stims is cheaper and more efficient (although I don't know if i'll ever get my order). I have never tried an RC stim yet, but if 4FA works as well for my purposes as Adderall did, I'm going to use RC stims until I can't get them anymore. No more waiting for a refill, paying tons of money on psychiatrist and rx, very limited supply, limited range of effects, bad comedowns.

Nope. Only "street" (actually "internet" but w/e) amphetamine, the one i have access to is one of the cleaniest though (not mine but my friend's experiences, I've never taken amphetamine and I'm trying to avoid that).

Why? Wouldn't taking a small dose orally with rules on redosing (or no redosing at all) work?

Yeah, I'm just trying to find the drug which is the most effective, while being cheap at the same time. i can't really afford benzos either :( i've tried ethylphenidate though, and I don't think this is viable for studying, lol... Very 'dirty' and shitloads of physical stimulation, harsh comedown too

For now I'm opting for amphetamine, since it's cheap and shouldn't give euphoria and comedowns after lower doses, but I'm trying to avoid this compound at all costs 'cause I'm so scared of it, I've lost too many people because of famous polish amphetamine guys

QFT. I spent an entire quarter trying to make MDPV work as a study drug and ended up extremely delusional (to say nothing of doing badly in said classes). Shit was nightmarish.

Also, I would recommend adderall, but since amphetamines apparently affect memory formation, I would suggest using ginko or vinpocetine as an adjunct.

Another non-amphetamine alternative would be adrafinil or modafinil.
 
yea man, adderall or ritalin would work great. everything else has too much pleasure or euphoria and you will chase it.

that or you can eat healthy, sleep good, hydrate your self and study like people did before drugs.
 
My vote goes for Vyvanse. The come up and come down is EXPONENTIALLY smoother than Adderall. Seriously, I mean so smooth that even on doses of 240mg of Vyvanse, I experience no negative side effects from the come down, not even headache! With Adderall, I take 100mg and 6 hours later I feel like I got sandwiched between 2 freight trains both traveling at max speed.

If you can't get Vyvanse maybe try ordering an RC like Ethylphenidate. I have yet to try it myself, but I have heard nothing but good things, and I know Methylphenidate is the "clean your whole house then write a 20 page essay" type of high.
 
^thats a lot, but I hear you on those doses, as I take a similar amount. I think you begin to develop a tolerance to the bad effects and you just don't get them as much on the drugs after time... by you I mean people in general.

Vyvanse is only dex too thats why compared to adderall...

i find dexedrine to suprisingly have less negative side effects than vyvanse even, despite its IR action, for some reason I feel less shit effects all the time using dexedrine IR instead of vyvanse... which is smooth too but like i said, surprisingly. I get less of a crash with IR dexamphetamine than with vyvanse... I can't feel a comedown from dexedrine I mean, with vyvanse I feel myself start coming down and it lasts forever, its like its (and it is,) coming up and down all day at the same time... techically that is what vyvanse is doing, maybe thats why that does it to me...

could the dimesylate salt "feel" different than the sulphate?

I'd go for very low dose IR dex or medium range XR dex. Adderall XR should be sufficient, but ya use Ginko, etc.

I'll report back on 4-FA when I get around to it myself.
 
Methylphenidate if you can get your hands on it, or 2-FA BY FAR if you're willing to pay the premium price. I prefer it over methylphen and dex due to it's relatively short duration and lack of side-effects.

You might also want to look into modafinil otherwise.
 
If you're talking about getting a prescription stimulant, amphetamine is [IMO] your best bet. If you're considering the RC market, there are as many of them as there are opinions on which is the best. MDPV is extrememly potent, and very effective, but can cause paranoia after continued use, IME anyway. Others will concurr.

Keep in mind that very little to nothing is known regarding the toxicity/long term effects of the RC stimulants.

I wish I could, but the first two are impossible for me :) Besides, I have absolutely no skill in studying. I've never did and always laughed about it, until now when the fact that I haven't ever learned on how to study actually gets me endangered.

I would recommend adderall personally. That or 4-FA possibly.
Although the main problem for me using these as study aids is the dosage.
Too little and it seems not to help much. Too much and I end up goofing off and playing guitar or something else instead of actually studying.
So use your judgment to find a dose that works for you.
