Age:18
Height: 5'9"
Weight:130lbs
Bench: 154lbs
Deadlift: 330lbs
Squat: 265lbs

Holder of the national drug free powerlifting in squat, deadlift and total. Just a general question are steroids worth it at my age with the risks involved?

Yes, far too young for gear imo. At 18 youve pleanty of test floating around anyway. ;)

Just curious, but then at what age would it be useful. That is at what age would steroids have the least amount of harm to an educated male bodybuilder?

Bench Max 1-rep: 200lbs on a good day
Bar Curl Max 1-rep: around 120-30lbs

I consider myself above average in strength for the amount that I weigh and I am experienced with working with good form. I am not considering taking steroids (...yet), but I was wondering when other people have started and how it worked for them.

Note: FYI, I am a vegetarian and I keep a very strong diet high in everything that my body needs.
 
You should run your own blood work and examine your test levels every now and then; I would say when they start falling below an average level is when you should go on test if you plan on doing this, and I would estimate this age range to vary from 35 to 55, or later in life. People age drastically differently.

I don't know what people would say about you being a vegetarian man, but if you eat a well balanced diet, and you know what you're doing (and how you need a certain amount of protein in your diet) - then I'd say to just keep working out hard and don't give up. :)

Well the best time is when you have maxed out on your own ability to grow. How do you know when this is? Well, there are several complicated equasions that give a good idea, but in general id say a minimum of 6 years eating and training correctly past adolescence. Now many many people jump on way before this, but these are the guys who imo get the least out of steroids. If you are 5.5 % bf then you are doing extremely well considering your vegetarian diet. That is stage ready for most bbers. You should be able to tell if you are growing or not in that condition. ;)

I don't think anyone here would care about how much you curl. What are your deadlift and (full) squat numbers?

Full squat is about 250lbs although I do not try to "max" my squat since I work out alone and I do not own a belt.

I can deadlift at least 255, but I do not know my max as of now.

As for curling, so what if I posted how much I can curl for a max? It's not like I am a professional on this forum and know exactly what workout maxes should be posted.

As for my 5.5%BF, dude I'M A VEGETARIAN.

The type of diet you're on doesn't prove that you're 5.5%. How did you come to that figure?
Here's a good (rough) look at different percentages look like.

I didn't mean to offend you. It's just that the figure you gave is really on the extreme end. Like competition day bodybuilding extreme.

25 years old is usually the standard when you can start using gear

im sorry but those are nowhere close to records , natural or not - tested or not.

you weigh 130lbs , steroids shouldn't be a thought at this point yet. Esp at 18.

Now

Bench: 235
Squat: 305
Deadlift: 325
BFP: 8%

I haven't been lifting like I was but I'm still keeping active, a lot more body weight exercises these days than weights.

198 pounds
5´9´´ tall

I do not do maxes on the sets so I have no idea what my maxes are.

Body fat about 10%. I wanna drop to 7% but that is always extermly hard for me. When I do I will take pics!
