I've seen a lot of criticism for this show, but I think it's beautiful.

I'll check it out, I remember reading somewhere that it was "The leftovers meets Carnivale", well if that's the case: sign me up.

Almost at the end. I thought the first four episodes were excellent, at times it had this wonderful weaving of tension, with great shots, editing and emotion that The Leftovers did so well (they definitely took a couple pages out of their book).
The rest... not so much. I don't know what happened exactly. I got disinterested, I'm not buying some characters anymore, I'm getting slightly annoyed with all the plot holes and what seems to me forced and/or lazy writing. It's gonna take some courage to finish it.
