Hi I'm new. Last year I experienced really scary heart palpitations for the first time after a night out. It happens hours after the last bump/drink and usually continues for half an hour to an hour. It is extremely scary and feels like my heart is racing and beating really hard but I ride it out doing breathing exercises and staying calm as possible. If I'm awake when it starts I can feel a bit wobbly and uneasy. It often happens when I'm asleep and wakes me up.
Thing is I never know when it's going to happen, it isn't every time. I could go on an absolute bender and be fine or have a fairly light night and it happens.
Last night I had come home after being in a club and after party. I took one ecstasy pill over the night in three parts (blue punisher if relevant) and snorted a small bit of one back at the after party. Did bumps of coke all night and a couple of big lines in the morning. Had two small lines of ket, last dose 1pm and had some booze but drank a lot of water too.
Palpitations stated around 9.30pm just as my dinner arrived which I was unable to eat, had mild nausea. This continued until the low dose valium I took when they started kicked in and I passed out.
Why is this suddenly happening? Fyi I am in perimenopause and on hrt (livial) and have had a lot of issues around alcohol having adverse effects such as having blackouts for the first time and severe hangovers so I don't drink as much as I used to but still sometimes get carried away with it.
