now that's some good cartoon!!!

altho' the frequency of commercials
really got to me, ultimately, the
vol 2 part was amazingly rewarding
and satisfying.

i still think there were alot of things about the
story that was convoluted and unnecessary,
but still, a great show.

you get to see Obi Wan and Anakin's relationship
change from master-padawan to friend-brother.

it was on Cartonn Network saturday the 14th.
anyone else catch it?

I've seen the first two seasons (the first 20 x 5 minute episodes) and thought it was excellent. I hacven't seen the 3rd season yet (5 x 20? minute episodes).

Genndy Tartakovski (creator of Dexter's Lab & Samurai Jack) brings back to life the fun aspect of the original trilogy, which the prequel have failed to envoke, with his own spectacular art style.

^not to mention subtle humor...

I've watched all of them numerous times and absolutely love them. And Vol. 3 manages to be even better than its predecessors (it's still available on starwars.com - and you don't need a subscription). Anakin and Obi-Wan mature into famous, almost mythical heroes of the Republic, General Grievous jumps from the shadows like a classic movie monster (and gets a priceless training scene with Count Dooku), and the story runs through several of my favorite SW gags of all time (particularly having to wait for a slow elevator during a frantic escape).

Vol. 3 is also one of the most viscerally stimulating cartoons I've ever seen. Grievous provides several good shocks thoughout, and his fighting style has such effortless brutality that it's hard not to cringe.

Watched Vol 3 last night. Whoah. Nice!

Shaak Ti pleasently surprises with her mastery of the lightsabre. But the cake is proverbially taken in the scene with Anakin in the cave of insight. Beautifuly accomplished pivotal moment.

bump

just watched these again online. these are fucking GREAT.

FAR superior to the prequel trilogy.

i didn't know their was a third part... i thought part three was the movie. so thanx, i'll definately check it out. so far the first two volumes were awesome!
