Opioids Stadol and precipitated w/d

How many days would one have to put between oxy and stadol to avoid withdrawal?
Would 3 (Fri last oxy use, Mon stadol use) be enough?

There's no set limit. Many people the first few real binges can go a week or so without feeling anything after every day usage, then some day you feel the first real withdrawl and that's the end of not feeling them pretty much

I have experience with oxy and withdrawal from it...but my understanding is that Stadol can send you into precipitated withdrawal if you're dependent on oxy. I am wondering what would be a safe amount of time to put between last day of pretty regular oxy use and a dose of stadol...

It's not that great...I was prescribed the Stadol nasal spray for migraines. It works OK for that, but I used to crack open the spray vials and inject it...not much of a rush or euphoria, but good for pulling myself out of withdrawal. Levorphanol is so potent, the dangers outweigh the benefits, unless you are very educated in the field of ultra-potent opioids (like fentanyl). But as far as "likability" is concerned, levorphanol is great drug; but again, like fentanyl, it provides more of a sedating, knock-you-on-your ass type high, not warm and euphoric like heroin.

To the OP, butorphanol (Stadol) is a mixed agonist / antagonist, hence it causes precipitated withdrawal. Use the same rules as you would with Suboxone...say, at least 24 ours after oxy before dosing the Stadol (unless you happen to use a drug with a ridiculous half-life like methadone, then go at least 48 hours, roughly).

Butorphanol is very sedative stuff, and it is less is more, if you inject 5 ml you will be drowsy, sleepy - not fun. If you will inject 0.5 ml - then mild euphoria, and disinhibitory efffect on speech.
