Harm Reduction SSRI's and legel highs

Hi guys,

I did do a search on Citalopram but all the interaction posts covered mainstream illegal drugs so here goes. I like my legal highs,specifically the following:

Charge +
Ingredients Vitamin C, Magnesium, Creatine, Amino Acids Blend, Dextrose Monohydrate, Vitamin B6, Caffeine, Herbal Blends, Hoodia, Minerals

and LU Doves:

Ingredients: Ketones, Dicalcium Phosphate, Magnesium Sterate.

Didn't want to post links in case it wasn't allowed but if people need the picutres and i can then just say.

Anyway i've just started on citalopram, been on it about 6 weeks now and up to 20mg daily. I'm just wondering whether it's likely to be safe to take these highs every now and then or if it's just a stupid idea and i'm likely to end up with seratonin syndrome?

Obviously it's hard to tell since the ingredients are so vague but i thought if people will know anywhere they'll know here. anyone whocan offer some advice or experience will be much appreciated. Otherwise i'm somewhat screwed as i can't access anything else apart from coke and mandy(obviously pointless) and the coke is so cut round here i figure imight as well be doing the legal highs!
 
Well, minus the "herbal blends" (which could be anything, I'm leaning towards something containing ephedrine, however), the "Charge +" looks okay, as its really just vitamins, some sugar and caffeine. No problems with interactions with citalopram there.

I can't really say about the "LU Doves", however, because "ketones" could be anything, even something unrelated to the ketones.

I don't have any experience with legal highs and I don't really want to, because there is always uncertainty about what you're actually consuming and that means you could have an adverse reaction, or..nothing will happen at all and you'll get a caffeine buzz.
 
I believe Charge + is Flephedrone (4-FMC), but it could also be 3-FMC.. also, I'm not sure about their action on the serotonin receptor so I don't know if the SSRI will effect it.

The LU Doves have changed ingredients quite often.. They use to be Methylone.. then I believe Mephedrone.. then various mixtures of Meph+caffeine or Methylone+caffeine

I don't think you'll be in any danger using them everyone once in a while. Now if the LU Doves are indeed Methylone, then the SSRI will indeed effect it, like taking MDMA on SSRIs.

Sorry I couldn't be of more help to you on the subject.. It's kinda hard when talking about brand name RCs considering their active ingredient change without notice..
 
Thanks guys for your answers- i know it's not an exact science with the legal highs but as i said i'm so limited with what i can get and i can't afford regular coke. I don't think the doves will have methylone or mephedrone in them since all cathinones were banned in the UK, but you're right, ketones really doesn't tell you much.

I'm happy enough to go with the charge+ anyway, it's not hectic but a few decent bombs of that does give me a nice buzz and energy for dancing and chatting which is what i'm after. I may try a half of the doves and see how it goes. the only thing that concerned me was this idea that seratonin syndrome can be instant etc.... and no one really explains how much you need to have taken to get it. if you have to have been on high dose ssris and munch 5pills the i would be fine anyway because i never take a lot.

Why are you wasting money on such garbage? Buy real drugs and stop wasting time with bullshit that won't even get you high.

Not saying that real drugs are a good way to spend money, but at least they work.
 
Because actually I have a good night on them. I have just as much fun as "proper" drugs with none of the worries about suppliers letting me down at the last minute, running out or getting caught. Remeber mephedrone and methylone were legal highs before they were banned and all of a sudden now they are "proper drugs".

Obviously you're entitled to your opnion as to what your preferences are, but considering that you had nothing useful whatsoever to add to my thread maybe you could allow me to enjoy my particular preference of highs without dissing my choices?
