I am in a new program. I have been diagnosed with ADHD. I have to fit into a certain class to get in this program, so they put me in the depression field.
My Dr. is a shrink, I have only met him once, but will meet him again Monday. I admitted to being an addict, and it really helped the situation. We found out I definitely have adhd. I don't know what he is going to give me yet, but he mentions ritalin or adderol. I really would like dexedrin, but I don't know how to go about asking for it, and I know it is not allowed to speak of that kind of thing so it is fine.
I also may get an rx for some sort of anti-depressant. He did not say anything about it, but it looks like I will. I do not know if I will take them, though, because everyone has told me that it is a horrible and destructive combo.
What are your thoughts on this situation? Feel free to move this thread if this is not the right place.
