YES. its a sad fact but I have myself been 'approached' and harrassed following my drug activities in the cubicles in the downstairs toilets at HOME, one friday at SUBlime.
There are actually over thirty cameras through out the club(32 or 37? notr sure which, and while I might know most of the bouncers I do NOT know the guys responible for the DRUG surveillance well enough to have a relative level of immunity yet -DAMMIT!
.
There are four cubicles in there and the only ones that its safe to do ANYTHING in (apart from fire nuclear weapons) are the ones closest to the urinal.
The two that you have to walk past, closest to the walkway, right opposite the huge sink with the taps, are *always* observed by the secutriy at HOME and EVERYONE knows it happens. These two in particular as the floor is raised at the sink level and a passing security guard only has to raise his head and lean a little to the left and he can look over directly into the cubicle you are in. Its not always the cameras that are watching, ive seen it done many times.
Illegal? maybe... but can anything be done about it? No.
My advice?: If you take drugs in the club then do it in the middle of the VOODOO floor, no one cares there.
If you are like myself and prefer to be a little more confined and organised with your substance administration, (particulary when youve got a mixed bag of 10 or so bikkies and you want to know exactly what you're doing) then use the toilets upstairs in the Cargo Room... where everyone queues to fill up water bottles..
*These have GOT to take the cake and eat it whole as the safest toilets in the CITY to undertake drug activities.*
Just dont spend too much time in there as this is the only thing that would give them reason to suspect you of illegal behaviour.
Prob solved. -but yes the Loo's downstairs at HOME might be famous, and we all know as well as the owners/promoters/staff that HOME exists for pill poppers, but they use these toilets to catch the dickheads who are not wary enough to do their business elsewhere. I got caught once and I deserved it. My bad. "Wont happen again officer."
