Like most 'active people' I like to listen to music while working out. Recently I've been on the hunt for some sturdy, waterproof headphones (earplugs really) that will stay in my ears as I'm jogging etc.

Ideally they would be Bluetooth enabled, so there are no annoying cords, but honestly I don't think I'll be that lucky. :\

Does anyone have personal recommendations or suggestions?

To make matters harder, I want them in pink, white or black.. I'm fashion conscious, what can I say. ;) :p

^I was more thinking of something like this;

I need a way to keep them in my ear - 'normal' ear buds don't cut it when I'm jogging!

I was looking at mp3 players on Sony's site just the other day and noticed they have a pretty good lineup of "active style" headphones. I'm stuck in a bad market though, the Asian market (probably including Oceania) has all of Sony's best stuff and in every colour of the rainbow to boot.

i've been using these for years (sony earclips). i'm sure there's better sound quality out there, but they stay in my ears at a full sprint and are cheap to replace. not sure if they're "throw them in the pool" waterproof, but they've stood up to tons of sweat without a problem.

I ended up getting a pair of these:

They're middle-of-the-road ($299+ for beats by Dr Dre was a bit OTT), had numerous positive reviews and are sweat resistant. I'll update on how they perform. :)

They are AWESOME!!! I love that they stay in my ears - I seriously have not had a single issue with slipping or falling out. The sound quality is great (to my ears anyway) and I like that they allow for ambient noise to come through. :)

I've had good luck with the cheaper meelectronics in ear stuff. They are durable, yet really cheap to replace. My left ear has gone out on both the pairs I've used (I think it is the way I have my mp3 player stashed pulling on it with every pedal stroke), but I only use the right ear while riding anyways. My first pair have seen gallons of sweat and on the right are still going strong after over a year. I bought a few more pairs last time I was in the US because they were on sale for $10.
