Special K vs MDMA

I've only experienced K a few times.
I didn't like it much. The effects come on pretty quick, I'd say about 10 mins, and pretty hard.
It's kind of a stupifying feeling. It's hard to think on it, but then it is a tranquiliser. I really prefer MDMA to K. Some people claim they hallucinate on K, but I never have.

If you are talking about in a pill then I ONLY want to feel mdma. Ketamine is a poor substitute!

K is all fun until u fall in2 a hole 
ekkk there to scary for my liking. I only like K in small amounts at a house with friends not at a party, whereas MD i can have it newhere party or at sum1's house. But thats just me :D

k and md are 2 completely different drugs...
i think u guys need to experience them a bit more to really understand them.
And realise that u cannot generalise them in any way.

Why else would you take K but to get into a K hole?
K isn't in the same realm as MDMA for a party drug experience.
If you're taking K in pills you're a fool, the quality of the K which finds its way into pills is complete shit. K pills are generally regarded as cheap, rips offs.
MDMA doesn't compare to K as an immersive psychdelic.
It depends what experience you're after. Some people enjoy partying on very small doses of K, most don't.
K isn't in the same realm as MDMA for a party drug experience.

Cupid I'd contest that, Ketamine isn't strictly a comedown/day after drug at all. If you dose lightly and combine with meth it can be a very fun and interesting club drug.

k is fun (so the dwarves tell me) someting different to mdma... a change is always good... personally i prefer mdma but k is alright occasiuonally 8)

for me, Id prefer to have ketamine.
I still love MDMA, and it has a wonderful effect still. But I get too wiped out from it. I can have a dose of G and small bumps through the night and I'll have just as rockin a time (perhaps more) than MDMA PLUS... i'll remember the night.

I agree with Mr Horse, i too love K, with a passion! And getting in the K Hole is an incredible experience, if u know how to handle it. I love MDMA too, but i think i prefer Psychadelics (minus acid). I just find K a bit harder 2 obtain.

I categorically disagree with this statement.
I think the noise and lack of comfort in a club atmosphere are deleterious to a real MDMA experience. It is my personal opinion that many of the more subtle effects that permeate the MDMA experience can be totally lost in the noisy busy environment of a club. In my opinion, MDMA is far better suited to a home environment where the ambience, music and the people can be customised to suit.
Ketamine is also a very interesting drug for self-exploration which is excellent taken by itself without any previous drug intake for the session.
Remember, not everyone is a raver, and raves aren't necessarily the greatest place for psychedelic experimentation or self-exploration. But they have flashy lights which look cool when you're off your guts...

Agree totally with BT. I haven't had MDxx in a club since last year sometimes (Although at large events its again a different story as finding a chill breaks room is always possible).
K can be great in many environment. I'll happily experience small doses of K in a club and keep larger doses to the home or bush.

wow, appologies, but from what i have seen by over 100 people almost every week in hard kandy i just simply catagorised it in that way.
I like a nice floaty k experince.
perhaps in a club, but what i meant by that comment was that k should not be selling in clubs for pills.
80% of people when they buy a pill in a club, they dont know what is in it. not talking about differences of md, but more from meth/speed/md(xx)/k.
Roughly 18 months ago, to 2 years, how many k pills did u see selling in clubs compared to md(xx) pills?
For any1 who enjoys k, then it can be a great experience in any situation, but from most, (and when i say most i am reffering to 80% of the people out there, who do not know what a simple drug testing kit is, let alone the differences between a k pill and a md pill.)
md pills r in a much higher demand.
Some of the people i know in a club usually have set times for individual drugs.
Club - md / meth
after club - k / g / 1-4b / nangs etc etc.
now to justify my quote, i will have to appologise but i did reffer it to one of those 80% people, especially because it was called 'special k'

that is exactly how i feel.
I see too many people complaining to me every week that they rn't feeling what they 'should' feel.
If any1 has access to some nice k powder, then i regard them as outside the 80% bracket.
For as i said, most of the crowd doesnt the differences between taking a speedy pill to meth, etc etc.
i probably have contradicted myself here, but im not really in a sate of mind to make mouch sence
so thanks for putting up with my views.

I couldn't really put them either way... I guess if I had to choose one drug to have, I'd take MDMA, but K + G is a lot of fun. I've never personally k-holed, I feel I'm just not ready for that yet, so I take K to get nicely numb... MMMM love slapping my face and not feeling it

Well i only tried K once so i am very much not in the know but... i loved it... am getting a bit over MDMA i guess, looking for something new. But i would definetaly say it is not a club drug at all, just a sit in a dark room somewhere and dont move for a while drug. I liked it and would love to K hole, despite the fact a lot of people dont like it.

Taking into account my view on drugs and the body, I guess I can put a good point into this discussion.
The whole "K hole" feeling one gets from Ketamine can be gained cheaply and easily through one thing: meditation. This has the added effect of not fucking around with your body, along with the other more obvious things. If one wants to experience complete dissociation, all you have to do is find a good teacher or book and spare time. The cost will be minimal and the benefits enormous.
Of course, it'll take you time, but we're a harm minimisation board and what minimises harm greater than NOT TAKING THE DRUG.
Now, MDMA is a different kettle of fish to me due to the large range of effects one can have via the consumption of one chemical. The latest studies suggest that it is not as damaging to the body as it was believed, and that damage can be further minimised via the proper precautions (post/pre loading, water, blah blah blah.)
The "ecstasy" and "lovey" feeling one has is a much harder place to reach without chemicals. The lessening of the ego is a hard thing to achieve, thus in the mental sense of the argument, I go for MDMA.
Physically, I enjoy the increased tactile sensations of MDMA, and the ability to dance like a fuckwit for hours on end, which beats anything K can give me hands down.
But, my drug of choice is life.
