I know this may sound weird, but I was thinking about cooking up some special biscottis. I found this recipe and was wondering if it would be alright to just throw the ground up bud into the recipe.

6 tablespoons (3 ounces) butter
2/3 cup (4 3/4 ounces) sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons vanilla bean paste (or vanilla extract)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
2 large eggs
2 cups (8 1/2 ounces) King Arthur Unbleached All-Purpose Flour

You bake it at 350 degrees Fahrenheit, so is that too high for the bud? Also, I can't make the cannabutter because I live with my parents and that's just way too obvious, so will it still work if I just throw the ground up bud in the mixture?

replace the butter with some sort of cooking oil preferably vegetable oil and then take ur buds and cook them in the oil for about 30 minutes. Then i would go along with the recipe. You could still make butter with your dank but it isnt as quick.

It's going to be horrible without the bud butter. I'm imagining the smell of biscotti but the taste like the inside of my pipe. Honestly, I don't think making bud butter stinks worse than lighting up a few joints inside and baking it in the biscotti will still be stinky.

If it's worth doing, it's worth doing right. If you cannot logistically make bud butter, then stick to smoking.

Oh, and to answer your question...No, it doesn't get too hot. And it's DELICIOUS, though I prefer almond extract to vanilla.

What are you going to do when your parents ask to try one of the tasty biscottis you just baked?

LOL trust me, I already thought about this....I'd only make a couple of them that actually had bud, and just give them the kind without bud.

lol don't you think your house is going to smell like dank too?

I've made firecrackers before, and all i smelt was burning peanut butter with something else that I wasn't able to put my finger on (obv the bud, but if I didn't know the bud was in there I definitely wouldn't have known), so I was figuring the same would go with biscottis.

sounds like it could be good.

if i were you i would replace the recommended butter with cannabutter instead of just using ground up bud but either way it should work, but IMO the cannbutter could taste better

PS. biscottis? why biscottis?

PSS. are your parents always home? do they both work? if so do it while they are gone n it shouldnt take too long for the house to return to normal

I want to make biscotti's cause I want to make them on a chill night and eat them with coffee while smoking =D probably add some ope's to it too.

And yeah, they do work, but this shitty weather we've been having lately my dad has been having to stay home >.> I'm sure I'll be able to find a day where I can make them though, I start my winter break the 16th so I could probably make them sometime soon. Hopefully there'll be enough time for the house to clear up....i'll probably just make them right as soon as my parents leave in the morning. Hopefully my dad won't be sent home cause of the weather :!
