One of my friends got arrested yesterday and he had 2 bags of hydro, a glass bowl, a scale and one bean on him...does anyone know what could happen to him I mean is he in a lot of danger of getting some time? I know the weed isn't that big of a deal but I don't know how they react over beans.

dont worry my friend got busted with: half ounce of coke, 400 beans, a tech 9 (gun), badass bong, a minor (gurl), and some pot. your friend will get off easily.

The only problem that shows itself readily is the fact that he had the hydro and the scale at the same time. That could be shown as intent to sell. . . Where was yourfriend when he/she got arrested? And don't worry, it'll all be ok.

Thanks, Motab...I don't know if you know NY that well, but it was in Orange County NY while he was up there running an errand. He also got arrested last Wed. for having weed on him in the Bronx....do you happen to know what they usually do if you get caught with beans on you? Personally I think it is over for him and I am feelin for him.
 
Sorry to hear about your friend. I would agree with everyone here if you live in a somewhat large diverse city. However, got busted a while back for breaking into a car in a conservative/older, about 90% white community and got 90 days. Oh yea for a first offense too, and they didnt even find anything on me...but they did have a witness and found tools for breaking into cars. I dont know if 90 days is along time in your opinion, but for someone who just turned 18, it sure as hell was.
PLUR and may we all make wiser decisions, even in desparation.
 
I just got busted about a week ago at he Tunnel with 13 beans on me, while I was rollin' off my ass... I don't remember what I said to the cops, but they say I told them that I was selling the stuff... Only problem is, they don't have a signed statement. The short of it is that I'm charged with a misdemeanor possesion count and a felony possesion w/intent count... After all is said and done, it looks like I'll get 12 years... just kidding!!! I should get two days community service if they don't press the felony case... I'll wind up pleading to the misdemeanor... no biggie... No more drugs for me though... I spent 24 hours in Manhattan Central Booking, and it felt like a lifetime... I still feel paranoid... I can't even imagine four years in Rikers... ughh... Anyway... the scale may be an issue, but other than that he should be all right. PLUR and all that good stuff... Somebody get blown-up for me this weekend... = )
