Misc Sore throat from GHB

Is it normal to get a sore throat the day following GHB usage? At first I thought I was getting sick, but then I realized that this only happens on days after I use GHB. I am talking about moderate GHB usage (normally about 3 grams). It lasts about half the next day. I don't notice any other side effects. Could the PH be off? Or maybe this is just a result of high sodium levels.
 
I would check the pH first off. Even the simplest of kitchen chemistry is not immune to mistakes by dumbasses...
