Sometimes I sleep at night
But mostly I just lay back
Watching the minutes fly by
How some linger
Tantalise me with ideas of
What could be
Laying somewhere else
My thoughts scatter on the wind
Mind not tossing, turning
But scavenging
For signs of certainty
Lingering from the past
What do I do?
When everything I once knew
Again becomes a question?
Guessing the answers
Settling on a brief thought -
Are decisions binding?
Moving only with the wind's momentum
There are days of stagnate pools
Minutes of rushing rivers
Until I'm left
Stranded on an island
Sometimes I sleep at night..

if you found out you were dreaming, would you want to wake up?
Please don't interrupt me. That last sentence took a lot of effort to think of and now I have to think of another one.

This is a really nice poem!
