Soapbar Nugs??

Has anyone come across dense, dry nugs that smell and smoke faintly of soap or perhaps cologne? Is it possible to cut cannabis with soap or any similar substance?

The nugs probably wouldn't have stayed intact without something keeping it, since it was so dry.. it was bought in bulk by someone.. it had an underlying soap/floral/spicy unnatural scent/taste.. and it's possible someone put something on it because of the assy taste to begin with.

But I swear, this is the first cannabis that ever tasted like soap.. 8o

edit: No, I personally wasn't stupid enough to buy it.. it was a friend of a friend (honestly though :p )
 
why in the world would anyone wanna do something like that? I doubt it is cut with soap
 
i think i know what you're talking about. do you live in the midwest USA? a friend of mine just bought some that tastes kind of soapy, and burns like hell when smoked. 8(
 
i've had mid grade buds that tasted vaguely of flowers/opium when smoked, though they didnt smell (wasnt laced with opium or anything, i wish)

Thank you. Weed can smell like almost anything. As a matter of fact, the bagseed plant I had standing outside this year smells exactly like somekind of soap product.. It wasn't sprayed with anything, I didn't have it stored in an old soap box or something, it just smells that way. Some of the substances responsible for the smell and taste of pot are mono- and sesqui-terpenes, alpha- and beta-pinene, limonene, myrcene, and beta-phalandrene and in different ratio's they give off different smells/tastes etc.

Please, would everyone just stop speculating about possible additives, it's no use guessing.

Your assumption is true (watching the show cops can be educating lol). On the show they caught someone smuggling I think 2 or 3 crates with 50 pounds of pot in each. I cant remember exactly how it was done but it was either 1) Stuffed down the fish (sealed of course) or 2) They made a compartment underneath all the fish that you had to cut open to get into. It definitely looked like some brick dirty shit weed though that they were transporting haha ;p

And yes dryer sheets are commonly used to hide smell when transporting stuff. Ive heard alot about people wrapping hundreds of rolls with dryer sheets, sure enough people do the same with pot. Cut weed in my opinion is total shit, I mean how can you hide the cut in it? Closest thing really is to get oregano and that would be pretty damn obvious unless you are straight out retarded. Unless they just throw a bar of soap in your bar then I dont think soap would have really been involved in cutting it. Smell/taste honestly has nothing to do with it being cut. You have to think sometimes. Big operations do not just ship out 100 pounds without doing something to cover it up. They will find the most unsuspecting ways of getting around this shit.

As for cutting it with soap, how are they cutting it? Are they just rubbing soap on the bud? Lol, not to mention it wouldnt add much weight to the bud at all so it would be pointless to go through that effort........

For the last time, weed SMELL or TASTE is not necessarily a cut. Soap would be abot the dumbest thing to put with weed and it dont make a whole lot of since. To be truthful, I never had cut weed or never heard of it really (Outside of stuff like PCP). I honestly dont believe in a such thing as cut pot until someone can prove me that theres been bud going around with actualy soap in it.

All I can advise is never buy it from him if it does have soap. Who the hell puts soap in weed? Morons
 
one time a bitch put handsoap in my bong to clean it and when I smoked it the next day it filled up with bubbles and tasted soapy...

I've gotten some bud on two occasions that smelt quite suddy, soapy or what have you. It tasted rank, was quite sticky but it did the job nicely. That was many years ago though, don't know if it was contaminated with something. It may be that they smuggled it inside liquid soap although not in direct contact with the soap.
 
there was a dude who used to move tons of weed from cali to here, and he would wrap it in dryer sheets to mask the smell i guess. either way once that weed got here it tasted like dryer sheets. shit was riding in the back of a semi getting hot so the smell got into the weed but it wasnt very strong.

could be that it was dryer sheets or something else that was used to try and mask the smell.
 
iv come across a few things similar, everyone knows this post was from 06, right? Half the people who posted arent probably here anymore.
