So who likes UK/Happy Hardcore here then???

I got into electronic dance music back in 1990 and was full on with underground free parties until 2000

I dislike the use of the vague genre of Happy Hardcore, it covers such a wide range of music, the later stuff that came in around 1997 and to an extent is still made today doesnt really float my boat, it has a much more commercial edge, lots of lyrics and not enough head fuck for my tastes but itos a very personal thing.

For me Happy Hardcore was the music that came out of the dark more DnB hardcore, piano lines and fearsome pace which latched onto the very guts of MDMA :-

glad these tunes were posted, i can't remember any by name but damn i remember hearing it plenty back in the fuckin 90s! the kandy kids really knew how to party and i ended up sampling all kinds of excellent drugs i never heard of before. i still check out the new dnb stuff coming out under the HU label, just put this tune back on my playlist :)

 
yeah i did play through that album but only ended up buying one tune off it, just because i liked the breakdown :p

Since it's a drug related forum, I must add that it goes very well with MDMA or speed, even with weed.

After I snort a line, I got same feeling from this music that I got when I was like 6, and I sat in the snow and had fun drawing things to the snow. :D

Is there anyone who feels this kind of music? If yes, what your favorite tracks are? :) (I'm kinda new in the scene lol)

Oh yeah, I am a HUGE HHC/UK Hardcore fan! I love old and new school. I spin this music majority of the time. I love the positivity it creates and really cheers me up when I need it.
