So...What's the deal with Cocaine in Peru?

How dangerous is it to purchase cocaine? Is it easy? Readily available? Obviously the quality should be pretty...ahem...substantial.

There are tons of it, and it is pretty cheap. I would guess it will be offered to you at any hotel or in any taxi. Probably at most bars and nightclubs. Coke in peru is like weed in california. If you can't find it you don't need it.

What's the sketch factor like? I've never been to S. America, so I'm just unsure of the dangers of purchasing it from an unknown source (anytime I buy anything at home, it's from someone I know and trust).
