not literally, but i just got 4 wisdom teeth pulled and have fat holes in my gums still. anyways, im fiending to smoke but don't want to get dry socket. i've been getting the bowl cherried then ripping it through my nose. burns like a mofo but i still get fat hits. am i going to fuck up my nose or sense of smell by doing this? it burns pretty bad but im kinda desperate... oh and was thinking about smoking a cig this way but i haven't made it that low just yet..how bad of an idea is that..?
 
Don't do that. Make some firecrackers or other type of edible. google it for instructions.

You ever had just one molar pulled and tried to eat a cracker shortly afterwards? FUCKING PAIN.

I couldn't even imagine what it would feel like to eat firecrackers after having 4 wisdom teeth removed....



Mafioso, yeah, you do risk some damage to your sense of smell and nasal cavity, but I don't think it's that much of a risk if you're only inhaling nasally for a week or two at the most.

Weird shit can happen, though, bro. I'd feel bad if you kept doing this and completely lost your sense of smell and, as a consequence, your sense of taste as well. That would just fuckin' suck, man, but I really don't think it's a likely possibility.
 
^you could just cook the weed in the peanutbutter by its self in a glass bakeing dish or make some weed butter and pour it in some milk or tea
 
lol... i hate to say it, but I did the same thing... though I was high on oxy for the first time too so I imagine I did all kinds of stupid shit.

You can still get dry socket from the dryness the smoke creates, but the leading cause of dry socket is the suction motion, which is why they say you can't use straws or smoke cigs.

You can have a friend shotgun you hits too, preferably of the opposite sex unless you swing that way. Or go edibles as others have suggested, there are many threads on super easy and effective ways to do this - use the search engine

Edible-wise I'd probably go with a nice Bhang/"weed-milk" recipe in this situation, but OP didn't really ask about alternatives so I didn't respond with any at first.
 
ya edibles aren't really an option unless i can find a way to prepare them that doesn't stink up the entire house.

but ya tbh i think i was being a little paranoid earlier, i mean i exhale smoke from my nose when i smoke normally. my main concern was inhaling hot smoke in through my nose, not so much the smoke itself.

snahnefrommaine when you got dry socket how much were you smoking a day and how where you smoking it? did you smoke cigs too or just weed? i hella don't want dry socket getting 4 wisdom teeth pulled is enough of a pain in the ass without an infection..

Search for it. The recipe is rather debatable, I'd use the one with the highest and fattiest solutions. If you get it to work, I'd like to know, I haven't had much success with it and I personally thought it tasted like shit. Minor body buzz at best, not like making oil, honey, or butter.

Most recipes you can find call for ~1 ounce of bud. Don't worry, though, it's pretty simple to halve all the ingredients to make it work for a half, or even use as little as an 8th (just multiply all of the ingredient amounts by 0.125 to know what to use for an 8th).

Unfortunately, it seems like it might be a wasted effort to try and make single serving Bhang, but it could be done. Just a bit of work for not much in return.

Anyways, this is the basic recipe I've always based my crazy (and sometimes disgusting) cannabis concoctions in:


Bhang Recipe
from Flavors Of India, by Shanta Nimbark Sacharoff

2 cups water
1 ounce marijuana (fresh leaves and flowers of a female plant preferred)
4 cups warm milk
2 tablespoons blanched and chopped almonds
1/8 teaspoon garam masala [a mixture of cloves, cinnamon, and cardamon]
1/4 teaspoon powdered ginger
1/2 to 1 teaspoon rosewater
1 cup sugar

Bring the water to a rapid boil and pour into a clean teapot. Remove any seeds or twigs from the marijuana, add it to the teapot and cover. Let this brew for about 7 minutes. Now strain the water and marijuana through a piece of muslin cloth, collect the water and save. Take the leaves and flowers and squeeze between your hands to extract any liquid that remains. Add this to the water. Place the leaves and flowers in a mortar and add 2 teaspoons warm milk. Slowly but firmly grind the milk and leaves together. Gather up the marijuana and squeeze out as much milk as you can. Repeat this process until you have used about 1/2 cup of milk (about 4 to 5 times). Collect all the milk that has been extracted and place in a bowl. By this time the marijuana will have turned into a pulpy mass. Add the chopped almonds and some more warm milk. Grind this in the mortar until a fine paste is formed. Squeeze this paste and collect the extract as before. Repeat a few more times until all that is left are some fibers and nut meal. Discard the residue. Combine all the liquids that have been collected, including the water the marijuana was brewed in. Add to this the garam masala, dried ginger and rosewater. Add the sugar and remaining milk. Chill, serve, and enjoy.

A couple of times I just took a cup or two or three of milk, threw it in a pot with about a tbsp of butter on low heat (you don't want the milk to simmer or boil at all). Once the butter completely melted I'd throw in about an 8th of FINELY GROUND nugs into the mixture, keeping it on low heat. I'd stay close to the pot, stirring frequently and ensuring the mixture didn't boil or the milk didn't burn and stick to the pot. If I were you I'd let this go on for at least 15min, but personally I'd normally go for ~1 hour. My general rule of thumb is once your milk has been tainted green for a noticeable length of time, you're good to go. Remove the pot from the heat, pour mixture into a glass or container that can take rapid changes in temperature extremes. Take the glass of weed-milk and let it cool in the fridge.

Once it's adequately cold I suppose you could strain the milk using whatever means available, but I always left the little bits in because they were so finely ground that it didn't feel gritty and I'm never 100% sure all the good stuff gets absorbed into this drink. If you want to make it a true edible, find an awesome flavor of oatmeal and use your milk to make that. I always opted for cinnamon roll-flavored oatmeal when choosing this route.

honestly i've never been very high from eating edibles or from dank drank. i've had cookies and brownies from clubs, shit that people said they were gone from eating a half, and even some i made myself. ill catch a little buzz but always get a headache which is another reason im taking it up the nose. burns like a mofo don't it..?
 
^ I don't quiet remember, I was opiated. They didn't give you hydros or oxys? That's a crime. It was the only silver lining to getting those fuckers ripped out.

lol opiates... throw in some alcohol and theres no limit to the stupid shit ill do..

they gave me hydros and ibus. i want to pop them like candy specially as i start to comedown..smokings the only thing that helps lol.

The erowid recipe I just posted will definitely work if you follow instructions to the T. Deviate at your own personal risk.

My personal on-the-go weed-milk does work, but some people who've used the concoction as substitute for milk in certain recipes find that it takes forever to come up to a buzz and you plateau at a several hour buzz. That's common sense to me but I figure I should throw it out there in case people don't understand that a full stomach takes longer to digest specific food items than an empty stomach would.
