Harm Reduction Snorting Heroin

I have a question in regard to snorting heroin. The question is this: Is heroin safe to snort if you have Hepatitis C? Or does it simply exacerbate the Hep C virus? I'm taking Multivitamins and Milk Thistle at the moment. I'm hoping the multivitamins will boost my immune system, thereby being better able to ward off the virus IF I have contracted it.

Oh, one more question: Does Heroin adversely affect a person's immune system?

NOTE: I do not know if I have Hep C yet. I have to wait 12 weeks to get that answer (I had a needle-stick injury from a dude with Hep C last weekend).

Heroin is not toxic to the liver, shouldn't be much of an issue. It also won't have any drastic effect on the immune system, unless you get addicted, then its likely to have some sort of effect on it.

But, I thought as you do; opiates are NOT hepatoxic. Nonetheless this site states that it can lower your immune system.

I'm not going to bother to post links, but from what I understand of heroin use, it can somewhat compromise your immune system, but this is not due to the heroin itself so much as the lifestyle associated with using. If you eat properly and take care of yourself, it shouldn't be too much of a problem.
