Stimulants Snorting Ampetamines but snorting alcohol to support drip?

So i don't know where i got this but i heard that snorting a drop or two of alcohol can help the drug to be absorbed into your mucus membrane. Is this true? If so what kind of alcohol? Like would something with denatured alcohol like say mouthwash work if this hypothesis is plausible?
 
In this context alcohol would likely refer to vodka which is basically ethanol mixed with water. Mouthwash contains regular alcohol (ethanol) not denatured alcohol as this would render it poisonous which is illegal for anything meant to be ingested/inserted into body parts even if it's not supposed to be swallowed. That being said you don't want to snort mouthwash, it has way too many ingredients that could destroy either your sinus wall, your drug, or both. Think of that fierce Listerine sting in the morning... not a pretty sight. Also what kind of amphetamines are we talking about about? It's good to know 'cause not all are a good match for vodka (ethanol/water). Sounds pretty useless to just 'rinse off' the drug from your sinuses, ideally you would dissolve the drug into a proper liquid and inhale or spray the solution into your nose...
 
If I were to do this I would use vodka.

For buccal/sublingual administration, alcohol helps with absorbing, I assume it works in a similiar way
 
Snorting alcohol is terrible for your nasal tissue. And amphetamine salts are absorbed into the moist mucosa just fine. You don't need to snort alcohol to get them to absorb... any effect you get is probably psychological.
 
If your nose is so dry from repeated snorting causing intense de congestion that you can see some congealed powder caked in your nose then it is recommended that you snort water. Vodka would be extra painful and unnecessary. Your mucus is water based so that with suffice. Taking a steamy shower may work as well.
 
Come to think of it, the others are right. The sensitivity of the tissue inside the nasal canal are way more sensitive than the ones in the mouth so it would be very unnessisary and painful. Fining a way to effectively clear the nose and decongest the sinuses would be better for absorption because of increased surface area.
Pure product is also easier absorbed than cut poduct as well, some adulterants aren't very water soluble and can block the substance from being absorbed if it builds up and dries out
