Smoking DMT with an MAOI?

My friend and I are attempting to pick up some DMT sometime this summer. Our plan was that we would mix some of the DMT with an MAOI in gel caps and take it to produce the effects of a synthetic version of ayahuasca.

However, we're interested in taking it one step further. Our plan is to take the synthetic ayahuasca and then take a hit of DMT during the experience. Are there any risks associated with smoking DMT while you're already on the drug?

You better be ready for that experience though. Do you have any idea how intense that will be?
Smoked 5-MeO-DMT is the most intense psychedelic experience i've ever had. While DMT is undoubtedly different (haven't had the pleasure of sampling it yet), I would imagine the intensity to be similar. I don't even want to imagine what it'd be like WITH an MAOI and already being under the influence of an oral dose. Good luck, you'll need it .

I don't think maoi effects it much in my personal experience when smoked, maybe like twice as strong/long at best, take it in the gelcap, it's much better

Slightly offtopic, but the MAOI/5MEODMT combination is a big no-no. Both Shulgin and numerous Erowid reports state that this combination result in an extremely prolonged trip filled with terrible bodyload and a whole bunch of negative effects. So if your DMT comes from nature, make sure it does not contain 5-MEO-DMT before combining it with an MAOI.
