Just got neew contact lenses. My God How blind I was before is unbelievable !

I smoke about once a day...usually out of a bong or glass pipe...occasionally a blunt..

I don't want to do anything to risk my new 20/20 vision...will smoking mess up my eyes or cause my contacts to fall out?

yeah, i think my friend had contacts and when he smoked it would cause his eyes to dry up and the contacts would fall off...best bet is just to wear your glasses (if you have them) when you smoke.

smoking never bothered my contacts, even when i first got them. it's just when i put in Visine; it dries up my eyes and makes my vision blurry. if you do put something in your eyes to make the redness go away, i recommend a Visine made for contacts with extra moisture.

Ok this is one question i am qualified to answer.

I use Refresh - http://www.contactlenses.co.uk/inde...uctDetails&ProductEntryID=13&ProductPriceID=6

I use disposable/1 use lenses, but i also used to use it with my old 30day lenses. I definatly recommend disposables if that fits your contact lense usage patterns, as it makes things SOOO much easier.

Basically when I smoke, my eyes dry up. Well it might be a side-effect of all the anti-red eye stuff i used to use fucked my eyes (visine), i dont know.. But refresh comes in 20-30 dispoable droppers that are one use only. I smoke alot of Js when i go out, and so i slip one of these in my back pocket and use them throughout the night. It helps alot espically if u goto clubs that us aircon which drys them out even more.

No neeed for anti-redeye stuff with contacts because you have a great excuse - "my contacts are irritating my eyes!". Also ive used various other solutions/drops but most lft my contacts inoperable aftrewards, or only releived the dryness for a short period, and then came back worse then before. With refresh, even if ur contacts fall out after, u can still put them back in without a hitch.. i highly recommnd!

The hardest part with contact lenses i find is putting them in/taking them out. Trying to concentrate on that while high is not an easy task!

I wear my contacts everyday and I've never really had any problems. My eyes occasionally get kinda dry but any sort of eyedrops always did the trick for me.

What kind are you using? The soft ones or the hard ones?

I used to use the hard ones, but started smoking after I permanetly switched over to the soft ones, so I have nothing to say about the hard lenses.

Unless your contacts are the wrong size or if you get very dry eyes you shouldn't really have problems.

I wear soft contacts and my eyes would get very dry and it was because the soft contact lenses were very thick.

I changed contact brands and got ones that were not as thick and I stopped getting dry eyes daily.

Granted yeah I will get dry eyes now but that usually happens when I get dust or something in my eyes and contact eye drops work fine.

I've smoked herb on and off for about 10+ years and wore contacts for that amount of time too and I've never had any issues from smoking herb and wearing contacts.

I've never had them pop out or fall out while smoking.

Keep your contacts clean and rinse/rub them and clean the case by putting it in boiling water once a week.

Like someone else wrote I never really used the Visine products anymore unless I was very baked, wearing glasses, and had to pass around my parents since I would just say that my contact lenses were bothering me if I was high and someone actually did say something to me.

Heh I remember one time as a teenager my mom thought I was blazed out of my mind and I was just tired and wearing contacts which made my eyes red and glassy and I was completely sober and she didn't believe me.

I had recently got got contacts a few months ago, they never fall out when I smoke. But they do dry out more rapidly. Are your contacts soft lense or hard lense.

Got my contacts a few weeks ago. I've only worn them about 5 times though. the last 2 times I wore them, I smoked before I put them in..

Did not have any problems.

I wear dailies, have for years (before I started smoking?) Never noticed a problem.

Your eyes will adjust over time. It's not a problem unless you have sensitive eyes.
