Smoke regular amphetamine?

Q: I know about ice, but what would be the effects if you would smoke regular (ment for 'snorting'-)amphetamine?
Would it be effective? Is it really bad for you?
And what is really the difference between ice and regular meth?

I've heard it works. In theory, you could smoke Adderall, Dexidrine or Ritalin. I have no clue what would happen. but they are all amphetamine based pharmies.

ive smoked dexidrine before. they were 15mg time release. I sat for about half an hour (already tweaking) and crushed all those damn orange things. Then we put it over some weed. I didn't really notice anything much besides a nasty taste, and i don't think anyone else did except they said a better high (placebo?)...maybe part of the reason it didn't work was it was time release. i always just rail my meth though.

if your smoking speed (not meth) then they'll probably be a lot of crap left over when you've burnt it because of all the cut. if your whizz is relatively clean then you really don't need to smoke it. personally i don't like it, i makes me feel sharp without feeling good. i prefer to bomb about 1/3 of base, then i'm set for the day.

So it propably would not be any better then just snorting (what I always do...). The reason for this question was for a part because around here the myth goes that smoking speed would burn holes in your longs...looks kind-a BS to me, but you never know, right?
Is there, BTW...any decent way to get the 'cut-shit' outta the powder, so you just have pure amphetamine left? It kind-a depends on what the amp is cut with, of course...right?

Does anybody know if the pharms. amp is pure or if they put a filler in it? and if they do, how would you go about getting that filler out? I don't know any chemistry, so if it takes some knowledge of that i guess i am out of luck.

They always put filler in pills, they wouldn't hold together if they didn't. Snorting or smoking pills is stupid. But as Mr Furley from "Three's Company" says:

i've never smoked amphetamines, but someone i know once smoked an 8ball of crystal meth in 2 days and freaked out, ripped a toilet out of the ground and a whole bunch of other crazy shit. so i guess smoking meth works....

i tried smoking adderall before, put a 10mg pill in a pipe and smoked it, feel real giddy for a little, but definitly not as good as just chewing them up...

Why would you even try to smoke any pharmacutical? The binders/fillers/crap like APAP would make it almost impossible to get a high without making yourself sick...

ya, U can smoke Rids... one time we put a bunch of crushed up rids on top of a huge huge bowl for a sinkhooter and bobed at that shit for a while....ill tell ya, its the nastyist grossest tasteing smoke ever. ill never do it again, but needless to say it got us all right fucked up beoyned belief! We did this during lunch hour at our schoo. Take some advice, never sink hoot weed with rids in it at school...it just doesnt work out well.

Smoking base does kinda work in my experiance but isnt really worth it because the high isnt that good.
The problem with snorting is that the speed thins your blood vesels and quickly the snorting isnt as effective.

It's certainly worse than smokin' a ciggy. Apparently some of the meth vapours re-crystalize in your lungs, which wouldn't be healthy. Maybe "burning holes in your lungs" is a simple way of saying it can cause blockages in the tiny sacs in the lungs, effectively making parts redundant.

I wouldn't smoke anything that isn't either in a freebase rock form or pure crystal form. Among other things, the smoke from pill binders/sugar etc would would be black and shockingly bad tasting.

I think people in this thread are discussing two different topics. When you say "regular amphetamine," to what exactly are you refering?
I have smoked amphetamine sulphate (which is what I refer to as "regular amphetamine") IMHO - it's crap. It's cut with so much shit it simply ain't worth it.
I have no personal experience, but I do have it on good authority that smoking methamphetamine is quite a hoot
