Shooting for the Bluelight "Overly Academic" award here... hope that icon is supposed to be some kinda engorged brain...
I was doing a little bedtime reading of Peter Stafford's Psychedelics Encyclopedia 2nd Ed. from 1977 and came across a ref. to Cylert (magnesium pemoline) which is currently used to treat AHDH but in the late 70's was one of the early smart drug candidates. I was very suprised, having spent a lot of time researching and using smart drugs in the early 90's that it didn't come up. It got me to thinking.
If anyone has experience with this, Pircetam, DMAE or any others to use in combos to help "engrave the memory of psychedelic memory states" (quoting Stafford here) I'd sure be curious to hear your tales if you're willing to share.
Here's my goal - both 5-MeO-DMT and K can be used to have something akin to a near-death experience. These usually lead to a feeling of having deep insights that you can't remember other than vague feelings. That's well and good but basically I'm looking for a combo that will help imprint some of those insights better.
I like getting caned as much as the next bloke but I think I could get a lot out of getting more comfortable with death and all that.
Cheers, Wink
