Hey all, I haven't heard much about this so I thought I'd ask. Every time I take morphine, lately from poppy seed tea, I get an unusual and quite uncomfortable pain in my neck for around 20 minutes. After that it gradually tapers off and I slip into a nice high. I remember it happening the very first time I took just morphine sulfate years ago and it's happened every time since. I've only recently gotten back into it with the poppy seed tea. I do like the high but it kind of sucks to have to go through this every time.
It sort of feels like a lactic acid buildup, only in my neck. I have read that morphine causes more of a histamine release than other opiates, could that have anything to do with it? Does anybody else experience this?
