SO I been bored last few days so I did a lil sleep deprivation experiment on myself thought some of you might be interested in the results. Btw, I did not take any drugs during this period, nor did I drink coffee or energy drinks.

-Beginning: Aprox. 10:30 AM (11-3-09)

-27 Hours In [1:30 PM (11-4-09)]: Experience first symptoms of very mild vision impairment and mental fatigue.

-39 Hours In [1:30 AM (11-5-09)]: Experience first symptoms of physical fatigue.

-44 Hours In [6:30 AM (11-5-09)]: Notice first signs of mild physical and mental impairment.

-51 Hours In [1:30 PM (11-5-09)]: Beginning to feel excessive bodily fatigue.

-Dozed off sitting up for aprox. 20 minutes. [2:45 PM-3:05 PM (11-5-09)]

-58 Hours In [8:30 PM (11-5-09)]: Began experiencing mild hallucinations and slight paranoia. (Hallucinations included seeing shadows behind me while walking down the street that were not there, delirium-like visions: pictures looked different then what was actually on the image)
Also felt a feeling of my heart or pulse jump or skip a beat (felt similar to a side-effect of diphenhydramine).

-Dozed off laying down for aprox. 5 minutes. [Aprox. 1:00 AM (11-6-09)]

-65 Hours In [Aprox. 3:30 AM (11-6-09)]: Began dozing off and waking up.

-66 Hours In: Officially sleeping.

I'll this over to Healthy Living, though it's obviously not healthy to deprive yourself of sleep. This may be better suited for blogs, so I will leave that up to the HL mods.
