Misc Sleep aids - Has anyone here tried ramelteon?

Ramelteon is a melotonin receptor agonist (selective to M1 and M2 receptors) which is approved as a prescription sleep aid. So far, it appears that it doesn't cause dependance or rebound insomnia. I've never heard of anyone being prescribed this drug. According to the wiki page, its available in north America, I don't know about Europe.
 
I found it to be a substance with actually 0 value. Didn't help me fall asleep at all, then when I fell asleep I had the most intense, wicked, violent, horrible dreams imaginable. Didn't help me stay asleep, either. I took it faithfully for a month to see if it would help reset my sleep rhythm but no luck.
 
I would be curious to try it my self but the experience RustedHalo describe is pretty similar to what happen when I take Melatonin so I bet they are similar. I hate Melatonin I always have horrible nightmare when I take it.
