Simons turned black?

So I tested with Marquis, Mecke, and Simons tests.
Marquis and Mecke turned dark really fast.
Simons also turned really dark but I was under the impression that Simons turns blue.
So what's the deal?

What color is the powder? Try dropping some water on it and see if it goes dark color? Perhaps someone has added something that would cause a dark color in liquid to fool tests? A dye or something possibly??

By dark do you mean black?
