Opioids shooting: roxicodone dosage vs dilaudid dosage

Have been shooting 3-5 mg dilaudid 2x daily along with professional/family life. This dosage allows me to function and is a decent rush.

Getting some 30mg roxis to mix it up a bit. I have only eaten 20-30mg hydrocodone/apap and think that the eating and subsequent high kind of suck with the hydrocodone. Hoping for much better with roxi/oxycodone.

Can someone who has shot and orally taken both roxi and dilaudid give me some advice as to the best experience?

I have searched the forums and found partial answers. I have used opiate based equivalency calculators. Looking for first person accounts.

You're one of the very few people who think that.

The general consensus is that IV oxy has almost no rush, if at all, and certainly wont compare to IV hydromorphone. So really, no dose of oxy is going to give you the same feeling. IV'ing oxy is a pretty big waste of time for most people.
 
Comparing IV oxy and IV hydromorph is hard I agree.

Have you done oxy before? I would think you would like hydrocodone better as it breaks down to hydromorphone in your body.

To answer your question, I reccomend you eat the oxy. Seeing how you're used to the rush of hydromorph, which is great, you might be disappointed by living oxy.
 
the rush from iv oxycodone is almost non existent, though you will have a decent splurt of Damn i feel much better after your initial dose. IV oxycodone is nowhere even in the same ballpark as dilaudid. When i started throwing 90-120 mg of oxycodone in a shot as opposed to 8-12 mg of dillies i knew it was time to hang up the "roxi shooters habit" its more expensive and it doesnt even compare.
 
Thanks everyone, this helps! I feel this feedback is in line with everything else I've read on roxicodone. About 10% of people say shooting roxi ('blues' yeah?) is pretty awesome. The vast majority say there is no rush however and it is all about the long term effects rather than the transitory rush.

I have shot a good deal of dope/heroin in my lifetime but have, um, moved on to the more predictable/safe pill route. A few people who have shot roxis for years actually compare it to dope (this is from internet searches, not first hand)... I'm trying to figure out why?!?! when most people say it is not worth shooting.

I have eaten hydrocodone 10/325, 5/xxx etc a good deal and it's ok. All I can think about is the damage to my liver from the APAP however.

If anyone has shot both of these items, dilly and roxis, please let me know thoughts and how you would compare IV dosage.

I've shot both of em man an ya can't compare. Idk how many blues you'd have to shoot to equal a shot of a 4mg dilaudid so I can't help ya or even remember cuz shootn pills ain't my thing. If ya gettn them pills just pop em cuz if ya said ya do 3 to 5 mg to get well than id say eat about 60mg oxy an ya should be good.
 
Wow, these suck. I was hoping for bit more of a consistent opiate feel but no way. Even hydrocodone has a better high.

I only ate 20 mg to see how I'd react but if eating 80/90 is this feeling but more compounded, I have no interest.

Anyway, I know it's all subjective...some people love them from what I have read.
 
well 450mg IV oxy hits me pretty hard nothing like it used to before i built a ridiculous tolerance and 80mg of IV dillies doesn't even compare the rush is almost not there at this point in my usage even though according to conversion charts i have read 80mg of dillies should be similar to 900mg of oxy if both are IVed but my experience is not very common but it's this way for me and my dad
 
I used to make wicked combo 1cc doses with 90mg oxycodone and 16mg hydromorphone. I'm not advocating that at all, it's stupid and dangerous. IV hydromorphone just has no legs, the rush is very nice.

If you enjoy hydro why not CWE your pills and then not worry about your liver? It's easy and you can just chug the dose and enjoy!
 
Ok after using this site for so much info i figured i post some experience.
Been on and off opiate user for 15 years. Waste of life but that's another story.
Shooting roxicodone, out of a 100 times iv. Prob got a rush 10% no idea why. The old oc used to b a nice rush h half the time. Dilli awesome rush but no high so u will have an expensive all day chase. Now pep say don't shoot methadone but personally i get a nice rush f from that pretty constant. That being said its a pain to mix, pain to shoot, and unbelievably dumb. All pills are not worth shooting. U will kill your arms, break needles , and develope a nice needle fixation. The only easy thing to shoot is h. That's the truth. Now your not always guaranteed a rush, but u will go broke, friendless, lose everything u care about but u wiill have more time to look up stupid ways to wreck ur life on the
 
Couldn't edit last post,apologies for spelling,syntax,etc. Using a cheap prepaid phone cause i nodded out on a bench and someone stole my note off my lap. Have dumb doing opiates. B safe and remember the best intentions make the worst decisions
