Please share an inspirational event or happening that changed your life. For me it was the birth of my two boys.WoW they changed my life, vision and gave me hope, also made me wana be the best mom for them that I can be,the let them live a life with love peace joy and also teach them not just to receive but also give.they are my two little beacons of hope and I'll do anything and everything for them.days when the world sits heavily on my shoulders they bring me laughter they inspire me to be better.I owe the all I can give and teach they are truly a blessing and I'm grateful. We ofter look at the problems and avoid the blessings that's right infront of us.my eyes opened and joy was my gift

Quitting and staying off of benzodiazapines made me realize I'm much stronger than I thought I was. I still battled other addictions, and technically continue to do so (cigarettes). But resolving myself to quit benzos and following through with it when the withdrawal was brutal made me realize that I have much more control over my life that I had thought, and helped me realize I am not powerless which has been essential for me to continue to progress as a person. It also made me want to reach out to others on Bluelight which has ended my isolation and really helped my social anxiety. I have learned more about myself and human behaviour in the last two years than in all of my other 38 years. These experiences have given me hope for the future and inspiration to continue to move forward.
