So here's my story:
On friday at noon, I took my prescribed dose of adderall xr 20 mg. I have a pretty low tolerance to it considering I only take it 3 times a week or so.
At about 5 p.m., my IBS was getting out of hand, so I took a very strong prescribed Indica Marijuana edible. I have zero tolerance to medical marijuana, mainly because I just recently got my medical marijuana prescription renewed and I have not used cannabis in about 8 months.
About 3 hours later, the adderall starts to kick in more and the edible hits me HARD. I started feeling panicky. The adderall and edible was a horrible combination. I become very anxious, for no apparent reason, other than the fact that this feeling was extremely overwhelming and uncomfortable. I start having bad anxiety.
For the next 4+ hours I am having horrible anxiety. The only thing I could do was talk to friends online and text. I could barely move and was too afraid to get up. I finally get up and look at the mirror and notice my pupils were HUGE. Usually my pupils dilate only a little bit on adderall (not noticeable at all), but my pupils looked like I just got back from the ophthalmologist.
After about another 2 hours, I start to calm down, adderall wears off, cannabis high is still noticeable. I noticed I was shivering for a while, then I got sweaty and hot, felt very much confused and disoriented, and I felt very restless and slept very lightly.
The next morning my pupils were still somewhat noticeably dilated, and they have been like that ever since.
So my question is, does anyone believe this combination could have caused mild serotonin syndrome?
Honestly that combination felt like I was on a high dose of MDMA. It was the same feeling I was getting as if someone was constantly pushing on my head/brain.
I also recently took a percocet 30 milligram to constrict my pupils. It did not work have any affect on them, but it usually gives me very small pupils. So feel like there is something wrong. It also didn't give me much of a high, even though I have low tolerance to opiates.
