Technical Problem sending a PM problem with typing the message....

when i go to do a PM i start typing and for some reason it freezes...It has happened twice today and as i dont look at the screen often, not being a touch typer, i dont realise until ive typed heaps ...And its not there....So i have to come back to the big box and reclick in it for it to become active again and allow me to keep typing...Does this make any sence?

are you sure you're not simply doing something to move the focus away from the editor? that would account for "i have to come back to the big box and reclick in it for it to become active again and allow me to keep typing". i don't think anything is freezing - you're just typing but the keystrokes have nowhere to go...

make sure, before you start typing, that you can see a flashing cursor in the editor?

If you cannot find the root of the problem, another option is to type the message somewhere else (like in word processors such as Microsoft Word, TextMaker, Word Perfect, etc) and then copy/paste it into the private message box.

Yeah im sure im already active in the box as when i start typing its fine, then i look away from screen, back to keyboard and i dont move the cursor at all, and for some reason it stops being active and i need to reclick to make it active again...Look its no big deal, just though id ask and maybe see if it happens to others or if im lucky one!...And it will prob be isolated prob only i have lol...happens often in my life!.

are you on a laptop? is it possible that you are accidentally hitting the touch pad and clicking outside the PM box? i occasionally have that problem on one of my computers...

i am on Pc....It has happened severtimes since i posted this...As i dont look at the screen when i type i dont realise the words arnt coming until ive typed heaps!!Well i am aware now and i make sure its clicked in the box...Nobody else has surfaced with the same thing so i assume its isolated to me!!!
