Stimulants Seeing a doctor tuesday..

The last Dr. I was seen by was a miltary doctor 2 years ago. At that time I was prescribed Strattera, Ambien, Restoril, and Inderal. I want to get my script for Inderal and Ambien, but I also want something for my ADD.
I've been studying Japanese at a college since I left the military and this ADD stuff is really affecting me. Anyways, I ended up getting a few Adderall pills from someone, and it really helped more than Strattera has ever
done. I tried Strattera for about 2 months or so, but I had a few side effects (like someone kicked me in the nuts or something).

So my questions are:
What comes after Strattera?
I mean, would they prescribe me Adderall, or am I stuck on a few more worthless medications? (I was on Wellbutrin before being put on Strattera)

If Strattera doesn't work, stronger drugs are usually prescribed. That's something for you and your doctor to discuss, however.

We can't tell you how to act or what to say to a doctor in order to acquire drugs.
 
^Bingo. We aren't here to tell you what to say to get a specific drug prescribed. Your best bet is to go to the doctor, and be completely honest about your symptoms and explain to him what you have tried in the past. The direction he decides to go at that point, is up to him, and him only. If you aren't satisfied with the results, find a new doctor. Strattera is garbage, and if you've been on that and wellbutrin before, the next line of meds would most likely be ritalin or adderal.

I'm not asking how to act, I used to have adhd really bad as a kid. I would be so hyper that when the teacher told me to sit still, I would fall out of the chair. They tried putting me on ritalin when I was younger but my parents didn't want me to be on stimulants at an early age.
