Technical Problem search function doesn't work

well, the title says it all. when i use it it loads for a moment (very slow connection) but shows no results, instead displaying whatever forum i was viewing. am i missing something?
 
Is it the same for 'advanced search'? All I can think is that the slow connection is causing some kind of time out which resets you to where you were. Try a different browser (firefox) if advanced search produces the same results. As an interim measure you can use a google search of bluelight. For example "site:bluelight.ru methadone" plugged into the google bar to search for the string "methadone" on the site.
 
yeah, advanced is the same. thanks for the input, i'm using firefox but i have this fucking antique dsl line. i'll try it with chrome.
 
are you using the built-in Bluelight search engine? (here) cos it's working fine.

or are you using that "google co-op" enhanced search field towards the top/middle of each page? cos it's fucked.
