Cocaine scopolamine into cocaine>???

say I had grown , extracted and isolated 100 grams of scopolamine ,


It seems very possible this could be turned into 100 % pure cocaine with very few steps ..


can somebody whos knowledgeable in organic chemistry tell me if this route is possible ?
could people have feilds of NIGHTSHADE growing and converting it into the valluable and coveted cocaine?
 
is it possible too remove the oxygen at the 7 position without destroying the molecule?
 
The answer is no, scopolamine cannot be transformed into cocaine. Nor can atropine. Nor can tropinone or tropinol even.

It is impossible to stereoselectively add the methyl carboxylate group onto the tropane ring. You can't make ecognine, so you can't make cocaine. Bummer.

I highly doubt it could, but either way, this would be considered a synthesis question, which isn't allowed here.

EDIT: posted before I saw your last post (or sekio's edit). I'm not sure whether the cocaethylene question is allowed or not :?
